Regional Police Officer (RPO) Kohat, Abbas Majeed Marwat, along with Commissioner Kohat Division Mutasim Billah, paid an official visit to District Kurram on Wednesday to assess security arrangements and review key administrative matters.
During the visit, RPO Marwat, accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Kurram Ahmed Shah, inspected the newly constructed and modernly equipped Parachinar City Police Station.
Upon arrival, a well-equipped contingent of local police welcomed the visiting officials. The RPO thoroughly inspected various sections of the facility, including offices, detention centers, residential barracks, and other departments.
He interacted with the on-duty personnel, listened to their concerns, and posed questions regarding the Penal Code of Pakistan to assess their legal awareness.
In recognition of their exemplary performance, cash prizes were distributed among several police officers and personnel.
Later, RPO Marwat chaired a general meeting with officers and staff deployed at various posts across the district.
Addressing the gathering, he emphasized a service-oriented approach to policing. “Helping senior citizens, women, and vulnerable members of society must be your top priority,” he said.
He directed strict enforcement of the law under the department’s zero-tolerance policy towards crime and instructed officers to maintain courtesy, honesty, and professionalism in all aspects of duty.
