Adviser to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif has congratulated party workers and supporters on the successful protest rally in Islamabad.
He credited Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s effective strategy for the “peaceful protest in Islamabad’s D-Chowk ” for the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former premier Imran Khan.
Barrister Saif in a statement issued here emphasized that “it is the party’s policy to avoid any confrontation with the Rangers and the Army.”
He clarified that the “fake government” at the Brahma Interchange had ordered the deployment of Rangers and the Army under Article 245.
To prevent any confrontation and reach D Chowk, the Chief Minister along with some workers, took an alternative route via Sangjani Interchange, where he also addressed the workers.
Barrister Saif mentioned that the CM Gandapur and his colleagues went to Pakhtunkhwa House for consultation and to plan the next steps of the planned protest in Islamabad,s D-Chwak.
However, he said, the federal government illegally surrounded Pakhtunkhwa House and conducted consecutively four raids in an attempt to arrest the Chief Minister KP.
“The Chief Minister remained safe inside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House, and the illegal arrest was a ploy to create instability in the country and create unrest among the party workers,” he claimed.
The government had planned a clash between the people and the Pakistani forces, but due to PTI’s successful strategy, no confrontation occurred with the Rangers and the Army, Saif added.
He also condemned the illegal sealing of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House, calling it an attack on the unity of the federation.
He asserted that KP House belongs to the provincial government, and legal action will be pursued against those who entered it without permission and raided for the arrest of CM-KP and other party leaders. Mr Saif accused the federal government of employing fascist tactics against the KP government and vowed to challenge this illegal move in court and seek justice for the people.
