City University of Science and Information Technology (CUSIT), a private sector university in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, successfully conducted the first phase of its Goodwill & Talent Scholarship Test at the university’s Main Campus located on Dilazak Road here.
The initiative, aimed at recognizing academic potential and offering financial assistance to talented students, witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of over 250 candidates from across the region.
Students from various educational backgrounds participated in the test, aspiring to secure scholarships for their higher education at CUSIT.
The scholarship test forms part of the university’s broader mission to promote accessible and affordable quality education, and to support bright students who may face financial constraints in pursuing their academic dreams.
The program also helps foster goodwill between the university and the local community by encouraging academic excellence and providing opportunities to deserving individuals.
Registrar CUSIT, Amjad Khan expressed satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the test and the level of participation, saying that “We are extremely pleased to see such a positive response from students and parents”.
“Our objective is not only to offer financial support but to identify and nurture talent that can contribute meaningfully to society”.
“Education is the key to the future, and CUSIT remains committed to helping students achieve their goals,” he added.
The second phase of the Goodwill & Talent Scholarship Test is scheduled to be held on June 29, at the same venue. Students who were unable to participate in the first phase still have the opportunity to register and appear in the upcoming session, said the Registrar.
He said interested students and parents can visit the official CUSIT website or contact the university’s admissions office for information.
